Jenna’s a pretty girl potty mouth, addressing fans affectionately as her ‘boo-boos’, ‘friendship’, or ‘hey vaginas’.
Jenna has two crazy-cute dogs named Kricket and Marbles.
Jenna gets sh**-faced quite a lot. She is there to guide young women through the unique challenges that modern life presents for the hard-partying independent yet insecure woman.
I like her. She’s that normal, relatable girl, and she’s putting it out there.
But it was interesting while getting sucked into the vortex of her world and watching how she expertly mocks other You Tube video forms that she’s rather lost. This is probably why she’s probably still relatable despite her success and the move to the suburbs of L.A. otherwise known as Santa Monica.
That doesn’t stop her from making us laugh. Go Jenna. I suspect we see her life through a skewed lens. Yet in the end, I’m happy that a lot of girls are out there seeing a girl who’s not afraid to confess her flaws, who’s more than just a ‘pretty and popular’ girl. She’s unique and funny and–in a new way for our modern age–she’s become a successful entertainer. Her troubles are my troubles.
Right now she’s reaching out and grasping the You Tube humanity for her salvation. That’s heart-warming or a scary depending on how you look at it. And I plan to keep looking.
